Viltrox is a prolific budget lens maker, but it also produces flash units. It has unveiled its first High-Speed Sync compatible vintage unit, the Viltrox Vintage Z1 Pro. Targeting both beginners and professionals alike, this handsome flash unit offers TTL and a 1-second recycling time combined with a touch-sensitive colour screen.

With HSS up to 1/8000s it lets you to shoot at wide apertures and create a shallow depth of field background without even in bright sunlight. TTL (Through-The-Lens) metering is also on board. The S1 mode triggers when another flash burst is detected, while the S2 mode ignores TTL pre-flashes and triggers only on the primary flash burst.
Users can adjust flash output levels, shooting modes, battery status, and sync settings through the new circular colour touchscreen. The USB-rechargeable battery delivers up to 350 full-power flashes and recharges in just 70 minutes.
The Viltrox Vintage Z1 Pro flash is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, and Fujifilm cameras and available now for $59 \ £56 \ €68.
