“This photo was shot at Cannon Street Underground Station from the Platform. The focus of the shot was on the Roundel on the opposite platform from my standing position on the westbound platform. The arriving train was used to create the long exposure effect as a secondary layer on top of the roundels focal point. This was the first time I have tried this effect in my photography.
I only shoot on an iPhone and always update my phone yearly (on release day) to the latest Apple iPhone model. I am a self educated street photographer and got into photography as a way of being creative on lunchtimes; learning from YouTube and looking at others work on socials. This has since become a passion of mine.
I am always looking to learn new photographic techniques using my iPhone and push the envelope of what a mobile can do with photography. I enjoy shooting all manner of street photography from the weird and the wonderful to people in the wild. My inspirations are Mike Chudley and Sam Bassett (Also known on socials as Opticalwander).”
