The Motorola Razr 40 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra flip phones have been announced. The Motorola Razr Ultra has been said by Motorola to have been created with content creators in mind. The Motorola Razr Ultra comes with a 12MP main camera with an f/1.5 aperture, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 13MP ultrawide and macro vision lens.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra also comes with features such as a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor, AI face tracking, a ‘large’ external display at around at 3.6 inches and Motorola has said that the device is able to stand on its own in multiple angles. Its main camera can capture video at up to 60fps. In terms of storage, it has 256GB built-in, with 8GB in RAM and is currently on sale across Europe in three colours: Viva Magenta, Infinite Black, and Glacier Blue for a price of £1,049 / €1,199.

Meanwhile, the Motorola Razr 40 has a 64MP main camera, 32MP selfie camera, and 13 MP ultra-wide and macro vision lens. It features a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Mobile Platform processor. The Motorola Razr 40 will be on sale across Europe starting at £799 / €799 in the coming weeks. For consumers in the UK, the Razr 40 can be purchased at Amazon, Carphone Warehouse, Currys, EE, John Lewis and Three and O2.

In the US, the Razr 40 Ultra (sold as the Razr+) will be launching on 23 June and will be available to buy for $999. Details of the Razr 40’s (sold as the Razr) price and release date have not been announced yet.

In the UK, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is available to buy on Amazon, Carphone Warehouse, Currys, EE, John Lewis, Three and Vodafone. There is a Motorola trade-in option for countries in Western Europe, and existing costumers can get up to €400 in cashback when purchasing Motorola’s new smartphones (Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, Motorola Razr 40 and Motorola Edge 40). The promotion ends on 30 April 2024.

Additionally, the Motorola Edge 40 Viva Magenta edition is already on sale across Europe for £529.99. For consumers in the UK, the Edge 40 can be purchased at Amazon, John Lewis and Three.
