Fujifilm’s QuickSnap disposable cameras have been around for 40 years now! Hard to believe, but these cameras are often the go-to choice for weddings, parties, and other special events. So much so, that Fujifilm has sold 1.7 billion QuickSnap cameras, not millions, but billions! It’s easy to see why these disposable film cameras, pre-loaded with Fujifilm’s popular 35mm films are so popular, being incredibly easy to use, and importantly, affordable to buy.

Now Fujifilm has announced two new models, the QuickSnap Black and White, pre-loaded with ISO400 black and white 35mm film with 27 exposures, the camera has a built-in Xenon flash (rather than LED), and is designed to give high-contrast black and white images. It has an RRP of $22.90 / £20.99.

The second addition to this range is the QuickSnap Active, which replaces the current waterproof model, it’s waterproof to depths up to 10 metres / 35 feet, there is no flash, but the camera uses ISO800 film which should help in the lower light conditions found underwater. This camera is ideal for all sorts of places and events where you need a waterproof camera such as swimming, paddleboarding, camping, or the winter weather and rain. This camera gives 27 exposures, and is priced at $24.75 / £22.99.

These new models will be available online and in selected retailers from September, 2026. Developing/processing costs aren’t included with the camera – but considering you can get these processed and developed with the choice of prints and/or digital scans – this is a relatively affordable way to get “full-frame” images – especially when compared to the price of full-frame cameras.
