Analogue Wonderland announced its first 35mm film camera. The PURE35 is a lightweight, fixed-aperture point and shoot released exclusively for the UK market in collaboration with Kodak Moments. This affordable film camera is offered in a camera plus film bundle with Kodak colour and black and white options.
The PURE35 has a simple focus-free lens for quick, no-fuss shooting and a built-in flash that aids low-light and night scenes. But focusing solely on the specs would miss the point of this launch entirely, and that’s making analogue photography more joyful and available for everyone. And the fact that Analogue Wonderland is giving you a camera, travel bag, strap, battery, and two rolls of genuine Kodak film for under £40 is what you should be focusing on!
It’s not just Gen-Z who’s driving the analogue resurgence. Most of us are weighed down by screen fatigue, so the desire to return to a simpler, more joyful way of capturing photos is stronger than ever. Many analogue beginners would reach for a disposable film camera, and I can’t deny just how convenient they are, but if you want to use different film stocks and slowly transition into analogue photography without worrying about other settings just yet, the PURE35 offers a promising option.
The PURE35 is available in a bundle from Analogue Wonderland’s website, including battery, strap, travel bag and sticker sheet, for £30. The same bundle, with the addition of two Kodak films, costs £39.90.
