Samsung has announced the Galaxy Z TriFold, an ultra-slim foldable camera phone that opens twice to reveal a large 10-inch display.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold at a glance:
- 200 MP Main camera F1.7
- 12 MP Ultra-Wide F2.2
- 10MP Telephoto F2.4 with 3x optical 30x digital zoom
- 10MP Selfie camera F2.2
- 10″ Dynamic AMOLED display (6,5″ folded)
- 5,600 mAh battery with 45W fast charge
- 3.9 mm at its thinnest point
- 309g
No more zooming in and fiddling around to make fine adjustments and retouching, imagine editing on a 10-inch screen. The Galaxy Z TriFold unfolds twice so you can use it for multi-tasking in separate windows, or to create a cinematic viewing experience. The TriFold is also the first Samsung to have a standalone Samsung DeX available, a feature that enables a desktop-like handling experience. For regular use, the bright Dynamic AMOLED 2X cover display (up to 120 Hz and 2600 nits) rounds things out.
The biggest concerns with fold phones are always the hinges and screen, as they wear down with time. The TriFold features Samsung’s new Armor Flexhinge, and a dual rail structure as well as a reinforced overcoat and shock-absorbing display layer to counter issues caused by wear. It also employs durable materials, including a titanium hinge housing and Advanced Armor Aluminum for the exterior.
It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform and includes a 200 MP main camera—a system it shares with the Z Fold 7, so for a hint on its expected performance, see our Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 review.
The Z TriFold is expected to be available for purchase in Korea on Dec. 12, 2025, followed by other markets including China, Taiwan, Singapore, the UAE and the U.S.
