The Vanguard Alta Pro 3VL Video Tripod Series claims the title of the tallest and most stable tripod ever made by Vanguard. It can extend up to 1.8m and supports a maximum load of 25 kg. The series comprises an aluminium alloy and a carbon fibre option with identical specifications apart from the expected weight difference, 3260g and 2920g respectively.

To achieve the smoothest of movements the central column has been replaced by a new CNC machined levelling system, that lets you rotate around at 360° and change the vertical tilt by ±15°. The kit comes equipped with an Arca-compatible VEO PV-18 Video Head that features pan lock, tilt lock, tilt dampening and extra long telescopic handles to give you absolute control of movement.

The base is a 3-section tripod with 30mm diameter legs that are designed to deliver a stable platform that is second to none, and extends up to 1.8 metres without the using a central column.

At the top of the tripod, the central column is replaced by a levelling system that has been CNC machined from a solid block of aluminium to deliver maximum quality and the smoothest of movements.

This levelling system allows you to rotate 360° or adjust the vertical tilt ±15°, making it fast and easy to level your camera on any terrain. When locked in place, the tripod itself delivers a solid base with a maximum load capacity of up to 25kg.
