Kutub Uddin, a photographer from Bognor Regis, West Sussex, triumphed in the contest, which was organised by the Society of International Nature and Wildlife Photographers.

Kutub’s image, simply called ‘Raining’, beat more than 650 entries.

It was captured in his garden, using a Sony Alpha 77 camera with a Sony 100mm macro lens.
