Tokina has confirmed that a 10-17mm digital SLR fisheye lens previously only available in Japan will soon be launched in the UK.
Designed for digital SLRs with an APS-C size imaging sensor, the lens is due to be available in Nikon and Canon fits and is expected to cost around £500.
The AF10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 AT-X 107 DX Fisheye aims to deliver a 180° field of view.
It contains a ?waterproof? optical coating claimed to make it easier to remove marks left by water or fingerprints.
Launched in Japan six months ago the 10-element-in-8-group optic contains a Super Low Dispersion lens element and comes with a built-in lens hood.
An exact UK availability date is yet to be announced.
