The six photographers added to the Imaging Ambassadors programme, which is run on Sony’s behalf by the World Photography Organisation (WPO), cover a wide range of styles and genres.

Primarily known for portraits, Gavin Evans has had numerous celebrities in front of his lens, including Björk, Gary Oldman and David Bowie. He also works in other genres for other projects, such as his Nightscapes series that documents India after dark (above).

Landscape legend Joe Cornish has his own gallery in North Yorkshire, is an honorary Fellow of the RPS and has been on the judging panel for Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

New Zealand-born Michael Wayne Plant is firstly a street photographer, though he also works in other genres. He has a particular interest in using documentary photography to explore social issues.

Fashion and sport photographer Nick Webster also joins the roster, with an established portfolio of published photography, both editorial and advertising.

While Dominic Fraser is chiefly known as an automotive photographer, he says on his website that he is ‘happy to point a camera at anything’. He also works in videography.

Finally, Andrew Scriven is a travel and wildlife photographer, whose exotic portfolio has won him a series of awards and accolades.
