A white Samsung’s NX10 micro system camera was on display at the IFA electronics show in Berlin last week, alongside other models in a gun-metal grey finish. Apparently otherwise identical to the existing black version, the alternative versions are white or grey on both the back and front of the bodies.
A spokesperson for Samsung UK says that these versions are not currently available in this country, and that it was up to managers in each region to determine whether to sell the models. That the company is introducing these new models at this stage though, is a good indication that the NX10 body will survive beyond the photokina trade show later this month.
On the same stand Samsung was showing future plans for lenses that indicated that a 20mm f/2.8 pancake lens, a 60mm f/2.7 macro lens and a 20-50mm wideangle f/3.5-5.6 zoom are on the near horizon, with the likelihood that full specification, delivery dates and pricing will be announced at photokina.
