The Polaroid Snap is a 10-million-pixel camera with a built-in printer that produce 2x3in prints using existing ‘ink-free’ Zero Ink Printing technology.
The camera, priced £89.99, includes a MicroSD card slot and offers three shooting modes: colour, b&w and ‘vintage Polaroid photo inspired’.
Also on board is a ‘photo booth’ mode, designed to capture six photos in ten seconds.
Users can choose whether to print with or without the classic Polaroid border, and there is a self-timer for selfies.
Polaroid’s president and CEO Scott W Hardy claimed: ‘The Polaroid Snap puts a modern twist on classic Polaroid instant cameras by combining digital camera technology with a contemporary, minimalist design at a price point consumers would expect to pay for an analogue instant camera.’
The Polaroid Snap is built to deliver prints in less than a minute.
