Police have released CCTV images of a man suspected of carrying out a string of ?high-value? Canon camera thefts at Jessops stores over the summer.
The burglaries took place in Worcester, Kidderminster, Redditch and Shrewsbury ? the scene of the latest incident at the end of August.
The stolen cameras are worth up to £2,000 each, confirmed police in a statement appealing for the public?s help in tracking down the suspect.
?In the latest incident? the alarm of the cabinet was triggered but no damage caused to the lock,? said Constable Colin Barrett of Shrewsbury Police.
?Staff members were alerted and the offender made off empty handed.?
He added: ?It is believed he may have some sort of keys allowing him access to the cabinets and I would urge anyone who knows his identity to please contact police.?
Jessops had yet to comment on the thefts at the time of writing.
The high-value cameras are ?Canon? models, according to a report published in Worcester News.
