The AF 540FGZ II (£549.99) and AF 360FGZ II (£399.99) are built to provide ‘solid, dependable operation even in difficult weather conditions including rain and fog’.
Each contains 28 seals and can be customised for up to nine preferred flash functions.
The built-in LED light can be used to provide a ‘catch light’ in portraits, add the firm.
The duo are designed to cover a 35mm lens viewing angle equivalent of 20mm (using a built-in, slide-out, wideangle panel).
Both units are due on sale from the end of September.
Meanwhile, Pentax has added an ‘HD’ coating to five members of its Limited Lens series.
Pentax claims the coating boosts light transmission to deliver ‘sharp, clear images free of flare and ghost images – even in adverse lighting’.
The new K-mount lenses, also due out from the end of next month, also feature a round-shaped diaphragm.
They are priced as follows: HD Pentax-DA 15mm F/4 ED AL Limited (£589.99); HD Pentax-DA 21mm f/3.2 AL Limited (£589.99); HD Pentax-DA 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited (£639.99); HD Pentax-DA 40mm f/2.8 Limited (£439.99); and HD Pentax-DA 70mm f/2.4 Limited (£639.99).
