The AF 540FGZ II (£549.99) and AF 360FGZ II (£399.99) are built to provide ‘solid, dependable operation even in difficult weather conditions including rain and fog’.

The duo are designed to cover a 35mm lens viewing angle equivalent of 20mm (using a built-in, slide-out, wideangle panel).
Both units are due on sale from the end of September.
Meanwhile, Pentax has added an ‘HD’ coating to five members of its Limited Lens series.
Pentax claims the coating boosts light transmission to deliver ‘sharp, clear images free of flare and ghost images – even in adverse lighting’.
The new K-mount lenses, also due out from the end of next month, also feature a round-shaped diaphragm.
