Panasonic has upgraded the firmware for its DMC-L1 digital SLR to add features such as multiple exposure and the ability to use the optical image stabiliser in ?panning mode?.
Other claimed improvements include the addition of a low-angle viewing mode designed to make it easier to view the LCD screen ?when the camera is held at below eye level?.
There is also a feature aimed at simplifying the setting of the aperture when using a lens without an aperture ring.
