Jollylook, a Ukrainian team of instant photography enthusiasts who design and make vintage looking modern instant film cameras and DIY (do-it-yourself) mechanical kits using biodegradable materials, have announced their Kickstarter campaign for the Jollylook Square Pinhole camera.
The Jollylook Square Pinhole is an instant film camera DIY kit and includes a manual development mechanism, bellows, and an exposure calculator. According to Jollylook, it takes around an hour and a half to three hours to assemble and once built, it is around the size of an iPhone box and uses standard Fujifilm Instax Square film. It also features a zoom control ranging from 50 mm to 110 mm.
The campaign launched on 30 May 2023, with the first commercially produced Jollylook Pinhole Square DIY kit cameras expected to be delivered in August 2023. During the first 48 hours of the campaign, the Jollylook Square Pinhole can be bought for a super early bird price of $79.
