Not only was it a perfect chance to try out a wide selection of Fujifilm camera gear, including the new and highly rated X-T10, the X-T1, and a range of lovely lenses, but also participate in a host of photo workshops and practical demonstrations lead by Fujifilm X-Photographers Damien Lovegrove, Paul Sanders and Matt Hart.
Top beauty and portrait photographer Damien talked about why he made the switch from DSLR to Fujifilm’s CSC range of cameras, as well as running hands-on portrait workshops with a professional model.
With stunning views across the capital from the 10th floor balcony, it was the perfect place for former picture editor for The Times turned landscape photographer Paul Sanders to discuss his approach to photography and offer one-to-one advice as attendees got to try out the X-T1 and a variety of LEE filters.
And for those wanting to take advantage of the compact form-factor of the Fujifilm X-series cameras, street photographer Matt Hart was offering guided walks round Borough.
To finish off a thoroughly fantastic day, everyone had the chance at the end of the day to get together, discuss their experiences with the kit, show-off some of the images they’d taken, talk photography and enjoy a glass of wine.
