Black Friday is increasingly feeling like Christmas, as it seems to start earlier and earlier. Nobody is complaining however as retailers are already offering some great discounts on cameras and lenses – it’s not just Amazon.
A case in point is long-established UK retailer Park Cameras, which has already flagged up some tempting discounts on a range of top photographic gear.
Park Cameras won a Good Service Award in this year’s AP Awards, so it’s a well-respected retailer with a good reputation for customer service as well as competitive pricing.

Nikon Z8
Nikon’s high-end full-frame mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z8, offers essentially the same specifications as the flagship Nikon Z9, but in a significantly smaller and less expensive body.
With an impressive combination of high resolution, high speed, and cutting-edge autofocus, all wrapped up in a rugged pro-spec body, it’s a camera that should be able to take on any conceivable task. Without doubt it’s one of the best Nikon mirrorless cameras to date.

Nikon Z6III
Staying with Nikon, this is another very capable mirrorless camera if you want to keep your costs down. ‘With a whole host of improvements over its predecessor, the Nikon Z6III matches or surpasses any other camera in its class,’ we said in our original, glowing review. ‘Highlights include a fabulous new viewfinder and superb autofocus system.’

Sony Alpha A7IV
This is another one of our favourite mirrorless cameras. As we said in our original review, it’s a ‘solid contender for serious enthusiasts, the Sony Alpha A7 IV is strong in every regard. It balances stills and video capabilities admirably.’
Highlights include excellent image quality, delivering more detail than 24MP or 20MP rivals, superb autofocus with extremely capable subject recognition, improved handling and more.

Sony Alpha A7III
Another classic full-frame mirrorless camera from the big S, the Sony A7III dates from 2018 but still has lots to offer serious photographers. It was third generation in Sony’s entry-level full-frame mirrorless A7 series, with the Alpha 7 III offering a new sensor, improved speed, upgraded autofocus and impressive battery life.
Key attractions include a 24.2MP full-frame sensor, ISO 100-204800 (extended), 10fps shooting, 4K video recording and 5-axis in body stabilisation.
