We asked Amateur Photographer readers to send us their best images to represent city life. The judging panel picked 60 images from the four categories titled ‘The People’, ‘The Views’, ‘The Animals’ and ‘The Details’.
The winning images can be viewed in our gallery and will be displayed from Monday 4 May- Sunday 31 May on JCDecaux digital screens in train stations, shopping centres and on roadsides in the UK, creating a powerful outdoor photographic gallery that celebrates the vibrancy of life in the city.
The gallery will be shown across landscape and portrait screens, reaching 40% of the UK population and will include major rail hubs nationwide including: Euston, King’s Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, St. Pancras, Victoria and Waterloo, in London as well as Glasgow, Liverpool Lime Street. Manchester Piccadilly, Newcastle, Nottingham, York to name but a few.
It will also be showcased across retail screens including major shopping destinations such as Bluewater, intu Lakeside, Bullring (Birmingham), St David’s (Cardiff), Liverpool One and Eldon Square (Newcastle).
