Planning a diving holiday this summer? Then you may be interested in a new five-million-pixel underwater digital camera called the ReefMaster DC500 which has just surfaced from Sealife.
Available from the end of July, features on board the amphibious debutante include a 3x optical zoom lens and 2in monitor ? allowing images to be viewed and deleted underwater.
Designed for divers ? but also suitable for capturing images on dry land – its maker claims the new model can be used down to a depth of 200 feet.
The DC500 is equipped with a 16MB of built-in memory and is compatible with SD memory cards. It also boasts USB 2.0 connectivity for transferring images to computer and can print directly from PictBridge-compatible printers.
There are four versions available with prices starting at £349.99. The DC500 Maxx Kit (SL159) includes accessories such as two external flash units and a wideangle lens in a kit priced around £1,000.
