Nikon UK is searching for a new general manager for its Imaging division after Simon Coleman left the business to pursue other interests, the company has announced.
Simon has worked at Nikon since the late 1980s and became general manager in 1996.
Nikon UK?s finance director John Read has taken over the reins as general manager on an ?interim? basis while the firm searches for a replacement, Nikon UK said in a statement.
Nikon UK Ltd president Michio Miwa added: ?Nikon thanks Simon for his significant contribution to the business.
?We are sad to see him go but we wish him the best of luck for the future.
‘Until a replacement is appointed we have plans to ensure the day-to-day functionality of the business will not be affected.?
