Equipped with a Canon EOS 70D, Morten Rustad travelled nearly 10,000 miles, crossing 19 Norwegian counties during a five-month trip that took him to the Russian border.
On his website, Morten says: ‘The aim of this five-minute short film is to show the variety of Norway, everything from the deep fjords in the south-west, to the moon landscape in the north, the aurora borealis (Northern Lights) and the settlements and cities around the country, both in summer and wintertime.’
Morten, who describes himself as a semi-professional photographer, today told Amateur Photographer that he used Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere software, in addition to LRTimelapse.
Last year, Morten told the BBC how he stitched together 15,000 photos for a time-lapse sequence of the University of Essex, in Colchester, where he is a business management student.
US photography website Petapixel reported on the Norway project earlier this week, describing Morten’s film as ‘breathtaking’.
