Tributes have been paid to photographer Kim Hibberd (pictured) as police investigations continue into his tragic death in Gloucester on New Year?s Day.
Kim, 55, took up photography after spending a short time in Holland promoting British bands and pursuing his interest in music.
His mother Cathleen Roffe said: ?Kim became passionate about photography and he enrolled on a course at Stroud College to further his skill.
?Kim had been enjoying photography for about eight years and didn?t realise what a talent he had until other people started noticing and pointing it out.?
His friend Kane Marden added: ?Kim was a warm, loving and intelligent man with the most fantastic sense of humour? We are trying to come to terms with this sudden and tragic loss.?
As we reported last week, a 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Kim?s death. He has been bailed until 31 January pending further enquiries.
After leaving school Kim served with the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. His main tour of duty was Northern Ireland.
