OPPO’s new MagSafe display accessory, the OPPO Bubble, won’t just help you take better selfies; it is also a perfect accessory for vloggers. Even though the term “selfie generation” has been coined to describe the growing number of people taking selfies daily, some of the best camera phones on the market still treat selfie cameras as an afterthought. Vloggers and content creators rely on rear cameras because their sensors are larger, their lenses are brighter, and they offer higher video resolution than front-facing cameras.

The OPPO Bubble is essentially a 58mm AMOLED touchscreen that snaps onto the back of your phone. Adding only 7mm and 27.5g makes it very manageable in size. Instead of using the rear cameras and second-guessing yourself, you can use this to monitor and record footage and stills. It can connect to your phone via Bluetooth up to 10m away, where it doubles as a remote shutter, letting you take group selfies or frame your wider surroundings. It is powered by a 550 mAh battery and can be recharged via USB-C.

Attachable mirrors and displays have been around for a while to solve this issue, but OPPO’s MagSafe-compatible display, a circular, magnetic screen, connects to your phone’s live feed, so you can review your footage in real time. The catch? It is only compatible with select devices. In the budget Reno lineup, the Reno 14, 15, and 16, while in the flagship category, the Find X8, X9, X9 Pro, and OPPO Find X9 Ultra, are available through a dedicated mobile app.

Launched alongside the OPPO Reno 16 series, the OPPO Bubble is currently available only in China for 499 yuan (approximately $73/£54), with no confirmed international rollout yet.
