Introducing Smartphone Picture of the Week!

Welcome to AP’s new online feature: Smartphone Picture of the Week. Every week we will be selecting our favourite photograph taken on a smartphone. To start us off, we have selected the 2021 Grand Prize Winner from the iPhone Photography Awards, István Kerekes.

István says: “Alexandru and Peter are shepherds near the chemical plant in Targu Mures. The shepherds live and graze their animals daily on the pasture in the immediate vicinity, between the chemical plant and the Mures river.”

Jessica studied Fine Art at Loughborough University, where she specialised in photography and graduated in 2017.
