Sigma has today confirmed the price of its DP1 digital camera and accessory line-up.
Billed as a ?high-end? compact, the DP1 features the same 14-million-pixel Foveon X3 imaging sensor as featured in Sigma’s SD14 DSLR.
It is due in UK shops next month, costing £549.99.
The DP1 will also be available as a kit with an optical viewfinder, priced £599.99.
The viewfinder (VF-11) will also be available separately costing £84.99.
Optional accessories will include a hood adapter (HA-11), priced £19.99; electronic flash (EF-140 DG), costing £44.99; AC adapter (SAC-3) and battery charger (BC-31), each priced at £39.99; and a Li-ion battery (BP-31) carrying £29.99 pricetag.
The camera was showcased at the PMA show in Las Vegas, USA a fortnight ago.
