Pentax will announce a new digital SLR next week, according to various official Pentax websites.

Teasers appearing on Pentax’s websites in Japan, Germany and the United States point to the announcement of a new K-series digital SLR on 21 May.

At the time of writing, members of Pentax’s UK PR team were in a meeting and could not be reached for comment.
