A fixture of the annual photography calendar, the celebrated London exhibition – curated by Monica Allende – features a selection of winning and shortlisted images from the 2026 Awards, as well as special presentations by the 2025 Photographer of the Year Zed Nelson and this year’s Outstanding Contribution to Photography recipient, Joel Meyerowitz.

Joel Meyerowitz talk – don’t miss out!
Joel Meyerowitz has been announced as this year’s recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to Photography title which honours the people that have shaped the history of the medium. A special retrospective of his work will be on display at Somerset House in 2026 as part of the Sony World Photography Awards exhibition.
An evening talk with Joel Meyerowitz will take place at 7pm on 21 April at Logan Hall, University College London.
