Nikon is celebrating after its D200 digital SLR beat 149 other cameras to win Japan?s Camera Grand Prix award 2006.
The 10.2-million-pixel model was voted the most outstanding camera released between April 2005 and March 2006 by a panel of 49 photographers, writers and representatives of the magazines that make up Japan?s Camera Press Club.
Judges applauded the camera for ?offering superior operability at an affordable price for both entry-level digital SLR users as well as professional and high-end amateur photographers?.
