Jessops newly opened shops have been taking delivery of the ‘Peter Jones Collection’ socks over the past few days, causing quite a stir on social networking websites.
A photo of the socks, posted by Sam Warren on a Facebook page for Jessops staff, has so far attracted more than 100 ‘likes’.
On his website, Peter Jones – who also markets his own collection of shirts, ties and cufflinks – says: ‘I love stripy socks; they are distinctive and add a splash of colour to any outfit.’
Meanwhile, the chain has confirmed that it has today reopened its store in Worthing, West Sussex, bringing the total so far to 19.
The chain came back to life just before Easter, having fallen into administration under previous owners.
