Images of David Beckham’s planned debut for LA Galaxy against Chelsea on Saturday are to be used by UK-based agency PA Photos to help trial a faster way of getting sports pictures to websites, mobile phones and other media outlets.
The latest release of the ?Shootlive? service aims to allow images to appear on sites and devices ?within minutes of the kick-off’, said a PA spokesman.
The pictures will be transmitted from the Shootlive system carried by the photographer to PA Photos’ operations centre where an editor selects, edits and captions the best photos.
