The Arden Photographic Group came away with all the honours at the annual Photographic Alliance of Great Britain Print Championship, in the first year the club has taken part.
In a hard-fought battle between the top 34 clubs from the PAGB?s 15 federations, the Warwickshire club accumulated a total of 212 points to beat Wigan 10 Foto Club into second place on 197 points and Dumfries Camera Club into third with 194 points. Last year?s Print Championship winners, Amersham Photographic Society, won the Plate competition with the PAGB Silver medal.
The PAGB represents more than 1,000 clubs, and the Championship, held at the Deeside College, near Chester on 25 October, was attended by more than 300 members from clubs that had qualified at regional level.
Amateur Photographer Editor Damien Demolder and Technical Editor Angela Nicholson were among those at the event on Saturday.
