Winners of the 2004 Amateur Photographer of the Year (APOY) competition celebrated in style at the opening of a special exhibition of their entries at The Camera Club in Kennington, South London.
Scooping the APOY 2004 title was Colin Roberts, from Winchester in Hampshire, who won the top prize of £5,000 to spend on gear provided by Canon, the competition?s sponsor. Colin put his winnings towards a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II digital SLR. Colin is pictured (left) with Ashley Ollett, senior public relations executive at Canon UK.
The Camera Club is showcasing the 30 winning and placed images from all 10 rounds of the prestigious 2004 contest until 26 May.
