Sony names World Photography Awards Open finalists

The shortlisted photographers will compete for a $5,000 prize, the winner of which will be announced on 30 April.

The 10 photographers are Holger Schmidtke (Germany) Valerie Prudon (Australia); Kylli Sparre (Estonia); Vlad Eftenie (Romania); Gert van den Bosch (Netherlands); Ivan Pedretti (Italy); Arup Ghosh (India); Alpay Erdem (Turkey); Hairul Azizi Harun (Malaysia); and Li Chen (China).

This year’s jury was chaired by Nigel Atherton, Group Editor of IPC Photo which publishes Amateur Photographer.
