Photographers who capture raw images with Nikon DSLRs, Nikon 1 interchangeable lens cameras or Nikon Coolpix digital compacts will be able to use this software.
Capture NX-D, which replaces the current Capture NX2 application, supports batch image processing and features an advanced user interface geared towards multiple monitors.
The usual Raw editing parameters are there, such as exposure, white balance and contrast and so on, and the software also has some limited capacity to edit JPEG and TIFF files.
In response to customer feedback on the beta version that was released earlier this year, Nikon has added additional functions such as an automatic retouch brush that streamlines processing.
Nikon’s Capture NX-D software is currently available to download from the Nikon website.
