A UK photographer has triumphed in this year?s Travel Photographer of the Year award ? a contest ?dominated? by Britons ?after several years in the shadows?, say organisers.
British photographers walked away with four out of six awards, including the overall title, which went to London-based photographer Julian Love.
Julian won a two-week trip to Mozambique and South Africa, plus kit that includes an HP printer.
The TPOTY 2006 images will be on show at the Daily Telegraph Adventure, Travel and Sports Show at Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London W14 8UX on 12-14 January 2007.
The winning shots are also due to be displayed at www.tpoty.com/pages/winners/2006.html.
