Exclusively designed for its digital SLRs are two new lenses from Pentax, both featuring a ?supersonic motor? for ?quieter? focusing.
The first in the new series is the SMC Pentax DA* 16-50mm f/2.8ED AL[IF] SDM which features two extra-low dispersion lens elements and three aspherical elements. It is claimed to deliver the 35mm viewing angle equivalent of a 24.5-76.5mm zoom.
While, the SMC Pentax-DA * 50-135mm f/2.8ED [IF] SDM zoom is designed to produce a 76.5-207mm equivalent focal length, in 35mm terms.
The KAF2-mount models are due to land on the UK high street in May.
Prices have yet to be announced.
