Singing legend George Michael has been arrested after driving his car into a London branch of high street photographic chain Snappy Snaps.

The 47-year-old was taken to a London police station after apparently being caught on CCTV mounting a curb and driving his car into the shop front of Snappy Snaps in Hampstead, north London.
The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A Snappy Snaps employee told Amateur Photographer that a ‘broken window’ was discovered at the front of the shop when staff turned up for work on Monday.
The staff member said he could not comment on whether it had been caused by George Michael’s car.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman told Amateur Photographer: ‘Police were called at approximately 3.35am on Sunday 4 July following reports of a vehicle in collision with a building on Hampstead High Street.’
He added: ‘Officers attended, and a man in his forties was arrested on suspicion of being unfit to drive. He was taken to a London police station and bailed to return in mid-August pending further enquiries.’
This is not the first time that Snappy Snaps has made international headlines.
In 2006, it emerged that the photographer who captured the widely-published last picture of former Russian agent Alexander Litvinenko worked at Snappy Snaps in Mayfair.
Natasja Weitsz was hired to take pictures of Litvinenko three days before he died in University College Hospital on 23 November 2006. He had been poisoned by what was found to be the radioactive substance polonium-210.
