The APO 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro HSM II costs a penny under £800 and features two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) and three Extraordinary Low Dispersion (ELD) glass elements.
The lens is made of 18 elements in 15 groups, weighs 1,370g and aims to produce a maximum magnification of 1:3.5.
Meanwhile, the APO 50-150mm f/2.8 EX DC HSM II is described as compact and lightweight and is exclusively designed for digital SLRs featuring an APS-C-size imaging sensor.
Priced £549.99 ? and tipping the scales at 780g ? it features an 18-element-in-14 group construction and includes four SLD elements to help correct chromatic aberrations.
Both lenses include Sigma?s Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) system with full-time manual focus override and are available in Sigma AF, Canon AF and Nikon AF fits.
