A close-up portrait of a cheetah has scooped a £5,000 holiday for amateur photographer Elaine Fox-Packer.
The contest, in association with Amateur Photographer?s publisher IPC Media, challenged amateurs to show how they ?see their world?.
It was backed by Samsung Digital Imaging.
Elaine, a reader of Mountain Bike Rider magazine, won a £5,000 Virgin Holiday voucher.
She also came first in the ?natural? category
Judges included AP Editor Damien Demolder and technical editor Angela Nicholson.
