Samsung has released the new Galaxy A57 and A37 today. The A-series has produced some of the best budget camera phones, with two previous models firmly on our list. The A57 and A37 pick up where their successful predecessors left off and add key camera improvements by upgrading computational photography and AI features.

A subtle tweak can make all the difference. The A57 is now equipped with an enhanced Image Signal Processor (ISP), which helps it deliver sharper and more detailed images with less noise and adapt to low light better for both video and stills. They are also capable of capturing faster shutter speeds, helping you to freeze motion with clarity.

The A-series was one of the first to introduce AI editing features reserved for pricier devices to a budget phone. Object Eraser in the A57 and A37 is now upgraded to deliver more natural results. While on the A57 Best Face, which saves ruined shots where people blinked, moved or frowned, now supports continuous shooting.

Screen size at 6.7″ is unchanged for both devices, but the A57 version receives an AMOLED + display. Despite slimming down the A57, Samsung managed to keep battery capacity at 5000mAh.

Both devices will be available starting April 10 in select markets. If launch prices remain close to the previous generation, we could have the A57 with 256GB storage available for £499, and the A37 for around £399.
