The Queen has beaten Kate Moss, Cheryl Cole and Barack Obama as the public figure most people would like to photograph.
Sir David Attenborough was the second most wanted person in a UK survey of 600 amateur and professional photographers conducted by insurance provider Photoguard.
Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama came in third and fourth respectively, ahead of Lady Gaga in fifth and Stephen Fry in sixth.
They were followed by Cheryl Cole, the Dalai Lama, Kate Moss, and Prince Charles who came in tenth place.
Photoguard managing director James Pickering said: ?The survey results are testament to the fact that British photographers prefer the stories behind the photographic subject ? depth and character seem to be more desirable than celebrity and beauty.?
