SanDisk has today revealed its latest memory card, aimed squarely at enthusiasts and professional photographers – the Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-1.
The Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-1 is aimed at photographers shooting ?high-resolution stills images, fast-moving action shots and HD videos?, according to SanDisk.
A spokesman added: ?The card features Ultra High Speed (UHS) technology from the newly-released SD 3.0 specification and achieves up to 45MB/sec read and write performance??
The card is compatible with any camera and other devices supporting SDHC cards.
SanDisk claims it is ?waterproof, temperature proof and shockproof?.
The card will be available in 8GB and 32GB formats, priced $109.99 and $349.99 respectively.
UK prices have yet to be announced.
