British photographer Jason Fraser has told the media that he expects a supreme court to overturn its decision to fine him around £2,400 for allegedly breaking French privacy laws in 1997.
Fraser was accused of infringing privacy laws by photographing Princess Diana kissing her boyfriend Dodi on a yacht.
The appeals court decision overturned a previous verdict delivered by another French court in 2006.
The case was brought by Dodi?s father Mohamed Al Fayed.
Fraser was also ordered to pay Mohamed Al Fayed nearly £4,000 in damages.
The photographer was not in Paris at the time of the couple?s death in a car crash.
