Nikon UK has this morning released the first official images of the D3X ? a 24.5-million-pixel digital SLR camera, boasting an FX-format, full-frame, sensor.
Nikon has also confirmed a body-only UK price of £5,499.99. The D3X camera will go on sale later this month.
The new professional-level D3X camera is primarily aimed at commercial, fashion and ?stock photographers?.
The camera?s key features include two crop modes: DX format and 5:4 ratio, a 3in LCD screen (920,000 dot resolution), two Live View modes (handheld and tripod) and equivalent ISO sensitivity of 100-1600.
The D3X camera is designed to shoot images at a burst rate of five frames per second in FX format, or 7fps in DX Crop mode.
