Fujifilm has launched the “timeless” instax mini 40 camera, the latest addition to its instax line-up, which uses analogue mini film. The company is also launching a new mini film variety, called Contact Sheet, which as its name suggests, mimics the look of a classic film contact sheet. As with all instax film, Contact Sheet will be available with 10 exposures per cartridge.
Key features of the new cameras include an Automatic Exposure function for quick point-and-shoot photography and a self-explanatory Selfie Mode, activated by pulling out the front-end edge of the lens after turning the camera on.
This makes it easier than ever to take selfies and close-up pictures.
Film development times takes about 90 seconds, depending on the ambient temperature, and the camera dimensions are 104 mm x 121 mm x 65 mm, with a weight of 330g. The new camera goes onsale from April 21st and will cost £89.99.
Contact Sheet mini film, meanwhile, will cost £8.99.
