Konica Minolta launched four new models with the £349 Dimage Z5, a superfast-focusing 5MP 12x optical zoom model with Antishake at the top of the list.
The Z5 has four exposure modes and six scene modes as well as predictive focusing and a 2.2fps continuous shooting function. Viewing is by means of a 114,000-pixel electronic viewfinder or a 2in TFT LCD.
The second model is the Dimage Z20, an 8x zoom with a 5 Megapixel primary-colour CCD and passive AF/video AF hybrid system that claims to give up to 450 frames with the four included AA alkaline batteries. It has a macro mode down to 1cm and weighs in at 300g.
Meanwhile, the £199 Dimage E50 is a 5MP camera with a 2.5in LCD. It has a 3x optical zoom lens in its 27.5mm body and weighs just 130g. It lets you record movie clips in 640×480 resolution at 15fps and can focus as close as 6 cm in macro mode.
Finally, the Konica Minolta Dimage X50 was available in a choice of three colours: silver, black or red.
It is now additionally available in blue or gunmetal grey at £249.
