Honor has revealed today the first look at its new budget smartphone, the Magic8 Lite, set to arrive in the UK early next year.

Honor confirmed that the Magic8 Lite will boast the company’s Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, paired with ultra-deep tempered glass and improved drop resistance said to withstand drops from 2.5 metres. It also achieved an industry-first SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification. Its durability extends beyond drop protection; the Magic8 Lite is equipped with a Three-layer Water Resistance Structure designed to withstand “extreme conditions, from everyday splashes and rinsing to accidental exposure to boiling water for up to 10 seconds.”
The images shown a sleek and stylish device that will be available in three eye-catching colour options: Forest Green, Midnight Black and Reddish Brown, the latter coupled with gold accents around the camera isle.
