Designed to fit into a pocket is a 30-gigabyte portable hard drive which has just been released by Jobo priced around £110.
Measuring 115x78x25mm and weighing 254g, the Jobo Giga ONE boasts a USB 2.0 interface and a 10-in-1 card reader. It supports CompactFlash Types 1 and II, Microdrive, SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro, MS Duo, XD Picture cards and SmartMedia.
The device is housed in an aluminium body and includes a 1.8in LCD screen which does not display images but shows information such as battery level and total amount of data on the storage card.
The Jobo Giga ONE costs £109.99 and is powered by a Li-ion battery. It takes seven minutes to transfer data from a ‘full’ 1GB CompactFlash card, according to JOBO.
