Photo agency Big Pictures has so far remained tight-lipped over media speculation that its boss, Darryn Lyons, is lined-up to take part in the controversial Celebrity Big Brother TV show.
Several media outlets, including London newspaper London Lite and Australia?s Herald Sun report that the high-profile paparazzi photographer is preparing to replace one of the contestants who face eviction by public vote in the Channel 4 show.
The programme has received thousands of complaints from the public over alleged racism towards one of the contestants, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty.
Last year Darryn Lyons – who is chairman of Big Pictures – launched a service for amateur photographers, dubbed ?Mr Paparazzi?. It aimed to make it easier for the public to submit digital images of celebrities for a share of the commission. Speaking to AP last year, Lyons brushed aside any suggestion that the service would increase the chances of a UK privacy law.
